Description

Fire and Safety Australia is currently seeking 2 experienced Rio Tinto inducted Medical Emergency Services Officer (MESO) for regular coverage. These roles are for a minimum of 3 months.

To be considered, you must have at least 6 months experience on a Rio Tinto site, along with a minimum of 2 years’ experience as a MESO. You will need to be confident working solo and leading ERT training.

These roles are available for immediate start – You must be residing in WA to be considered for this role.

Qualifications / Requirements

  • Certificate III in Mine Emergency Response and Rescue – Including Vertical and Confined Space Rescue/Fire Team Ops
  • Minimum of Cert IV Health Care (Ambulance) HLT41115 or higher
  • Operate and maintain a 4WD.
  • Current MR/HR Drivers Licence
  • Rio Tinto Sap Induction
  • Current CPR – (No older than a year)
  • Current Police Clearance – (No older than a year)
  • Minimum 6 Months on a Rio Tinto site
  • Ability to work solo with a minimum of 2 year’s experience on a mine site in a similar role
