About Us

Findura Insurance & Risk Solutions is a growing insurance brokerage focused on delivering trusted advice, strong professional relationships and long-term client outcomes across Australia and New Zealand.

We are seeking an experienced and technically capable Commercial Insurance Adviser to join our team in a newly created Queensland-based role focused on relationship management, business development and building long-term client partnerships across Queensland and New South Wales.

This role offers the opportunity to work closely with an established network of professional referral relationships and advisers across the region, with strong potential to develop meaningful client relationships and build a substantial long-term recurring portfolio over time.

The position is suited to a motivated adviser who enjoys working autonomously, developing professional networks and delivering high-quality advice across a broad range of commercial insurance risks.

While the role includes a strong relationship development focus initially, the successful candidate will progressively build and manage a portfolio supported by long-term referral partnerships and internal operational support.

 

About the Role

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing new commercial and agribusiness opportunities
  • Managing and strengthening professional referral relationships
  • Regular visitation and engagement with referral partners across the region
  • Building long-term client relationships and recurring revenue opportunities
  • Providing high-quality technical insurance advice and support to clients
  • Working collaboratively with internal support and processing teams
  • Contributing to Findura’s ongoing regional presence and development

 

The role includes strong opportunity across key metropolitan and regional markets with exposure to a broad range of commercial and agribusiness clients.

 

About You

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience within commercial insurance broking
  • Strong technical insurance knowledge across commercial product lines
  • Experience developing and managing professional referral relationships
  • Strong business development and client relationship skills
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management capability
  • The ability to work autonomously while contributing positively within a collaborative team environment
  • A genuine focus on long-term relationship building and client outcomes

 

Tier 1 qualification is required.

 

Diploma of Insurance Broking or equivalent qualifications will be highly regarded.

 

Experience within agribusiness or regional insurance markets will also be highly regarded.
