The Role

Reporting to the Chief Operations Officer and working closely with the Head of Service Delivery, this is a new role being established to strengthen the organisations data and reporting capability.  This is a hands-on role where you will provide analysis and insights to support service delivery, performance monitoring, funding compliance and strategic decision making.

You will analyse and interpret client, service, contact centre and operational data, and deliver high-quality reporting to internal stakeholders, funders and the Board. You will also lead improvements in data quality, reporting frameworks, and automation.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Analysing data across systems (e.g. client management, contact centre, intake channels) to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
  • Developing data dashboards and reports to support Executive, operational and Board decision making
  • Supporting funder reporting, including tracking performance against agreed targets and outcomes
  • Improving data quality, consistency, and governance practices across the organisation
  • Leading data and reporting improvement initiatives, including automation and system integration

About you:

You are a strong analytical thinker who can translate data into practical insights and influence decision-making. You are equally comfortable working with data and engaging stakeholders across the organisation.

You will bring:

  • Proven experience analysing data across multiple systems and producing insights that have informed operational or strategic decisions
  • Demonstrated experience building and maintaining dashboards using Power BI (or similar tools) that are actively used by stakeholders to monitor performance
  • Advanced Excel skills, with evidence of using Excel for data analysis, modelling, data cleaning, or reporting (e.g. pivot tables, formulas, data manipulation)
  • A track record of improving data quality and integrity, including implementing data cleaning, validation, or governance practices
  • Experience identifying and delivering improvements to reporting processes, including automation or integration of data across systems
  • Proven ability to manage and deliver projects, balancing competing priorities and meeting deadlines

Highly regarded:

  • Experience in the legal, community, not-for-profit, or government sector
  • Experience with Case management and Contact Centre systems (ActionStep, 3cX or similar)
