The Role

Reporting to the Farm Manager, you’ll oversee the day-to-day harvesting and haulage operations while leading a small team in the field. This is a hands-on role combining leadership, machinery operation, planning, safety and maintenance.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading daily harvest and haulage operations to meet production targets
• Supervising and supporting farm operators and contractors
• Operating harvesting machinery and transporting leaf to the distillery
• Supporting distillation activities and production reporting
• Maintaining equipment, plant and farm infrastructure
• Running toolbox talks, safety meetings and ensuring OH&S compliance
• Coordinating contractors, graziers and external stakeholders

About You

• Background in agriculture, horticulture or forestry operations preferred
• Experience operating farm or harvesting machinery
• Mechanical aptitude with basic repairs and maintenance
• Proven ability to lead small teams
• Strong communication and stakeholder skills
• Ability to work autonomously in a rural environment
• Current Victorian driver’s licence
