About Us
Feramex is a Melbourne-based sheet metal manufacturer supplying roofing and architectural cladding products to construction projects across Victoria.
Based in Tullamarine, we operate a fast-paced production facility and are expanding our team to support continued growth.
About the Role
As a Production Operator, you will be part of our day shift team, learning to operate machinery and contribute to the production of high-quality sheet metal products.
This is a hands-on, physical role suited to someone who enjoys working with their hands and being part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
- Read and prepare production orders to meet daily schedules
- Operate sheet-metal machinery to manufacture products to specification
- Pick, pack and prepare finished orders for dispatch
- Maintain quality standards and attention to detail
- Keep work areas clean, safe and organised
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures
About You
Essential
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling work
- Reliable with a strong work ethic
- Able to follow instructions and communicate clearly
- Basic computer/data entry skills
- Holds a current driver’s licence
Preferred:
- Forklift licence
- Experience in manufacturing or a similar environment
