Description

KT3 Kitchens QLD manufactures custom cabinetry for some of Queensland’s biggest retailers. We’re part of the Farquhar Group, a family-owned Australian manufacturing group running since 1978, so the work is stable and the business is growing.

We’ve recently restructured our pay levels and built a transparent 8-level progression pathway, so you’ll always know exactly what it takes to move up and earn more.

Pay & Perks

  • Level 2: New Starter: $31.00/hr. Learn the basics with proper training and team support. You won’t be left to figure it out alone.
  • Level 3: Experienced Starter: $32.50/hr. Bring your industry experience to the floor.
  • Level 4: Competent Operator: $35.00/hr. Run your own workstation independently.
  • Up to $400 quarterly bonus (an extra $1,600 a year): $200 for meeting your individual Safety & Reliability standards, plus $200 when the team hits production targets.
  • Clear career roadmap: The 8-level pathway runs from New Starter through Trade Equivalent and into leadership roles like 2IC and Supervisor. Your pay increases as your skills do!
  • 3:11pm finish every day for genuine work-life balance, in a family-owned and operated culture.
  • Overtime available if you want to boost your take-home pay.

The Role

You’ll be on the factory floor building custom cabinetry – physical, detail-oriented work where you see exactly what you’ve built at the end of every day:

  • Operating production machinery safely.
  • Assembling cabinetry using hand and power tools.
  • Measuring and inspecting finished work for consistent quality.
  • Working with your team to keep workflow moving and hit deadlines.
  • Keeping your workspace clean and safe, and reporting hazards immediately.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in manufacturing, production, or assembly, meaning you are comfortable with machinery and tools.
  • An eye for detail: you notice when something’s not right and take pride in your work.
  • Committed to WHS procedures, correct PPE, and looking out for your teammates.
  • Reliable: on-time for every scheduled start.
  • A Cabinet Making trade is a bonus, not a requirement.

If the hours suit you and you want a clear path to earning more, hit Apply. We’ll be in touch.
