Destination Gold Coast, Study Gold Coast and Major Events Gold Coast. Formed in

events, arts & culture and education, with a clear objective of positioning

About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a marketing professional
who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys seeing campaigns come to
life from concept through to delivery and evaluation.
Working closely with internal teams, agencies, event
partners and stakeholders, you’ll develop and execute audience-led campaigns
that drive ticket sales, attendance and engagement while supporting Experience
Gold Coast’s strategic objectives.
This role is responsible for executing a wide variety of
initiatives across multiple events, locations, venue types and strategic
partners, including on-ground activation at events.
What You’ll Do
- Planning
and delivering integrated, multi-channel marketing campaigns for
Experience Gold Coast’s events and festivals.
- Leveraging
audience insights, research and trends to develop compelling marketing
activity.
- Working
with creative and digital teams to deliver engaging content and campaign
assets.
- Monitoring
campaign performance and optimising activity based on audience and
ticketing data.
- Managing
multiple campaigns and priorities while ensuring projects are delivered on
time and within budget.
- Developing
and implementing year-round marketing and communications activity to
maintain audience engagement.
- Building
strong relationships with internal stakeholders, agencies, event partners
and industry organisations.
- Identifying
opportunities to maximise campaign reach, engagement and conversion
outcomes.
- Be
actively involved in on‑site event delivery, coordinating suppliers and
ensuring marketing initiatives are executed seamlessly on the ground.
What You’ll Bring
- A
degree in Marketing, Business or a related discipline.
- At
least 4 years’ experience in a marketing, communications or
campaign-focused role.
- Experience
working across integrated marketing campaigns, ideally within events,
festivals, tourism, entertainment or a sales-driven environment.
- Strong
understanding of digital marketing channels and campaign performance
measurement.
- Experience
using audience insights and data to inform marketing decisions.
- Excellent
project management and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Strong
written and verbal communication skills.
- The
ability to manage competing priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced
environment.
