About the Role
The Quality Governance Manager role is to project manage and deliver Excelsia University College’s University re-registration, accreditation and regulatory compliance obligations, ensuring alignment with the Higher Education Standards Framework and Excelsia’s Christian mission and identity.
Primary responsibilities include:
- To deliver Excelsia University College’s re-registration, accreditation and regulatory
reporting outcomes within statutory timeframes and institutional mission.
- To build and maintain effective internal and external relationships that support
successful regulatory outcomes.
- To manage complex regulatory projects, including scope, risk, resources and budgets,
ensuring timely and effective delivery.
- To support institutional compliance with the Higher Education Standards Framework and
embed continuous improvement practices.
- To contribute to institutional leadership supporting sustainable quality and compliance.
Selection Criteria
Qualifications and Professional Standing:
- Committed Christian involved in a local congregation.
- Possession of a relevant degree-level qualification, or equivalent extensive experience
and training in quality, governance, accreditation or regulatory compliance.
- Senior experience (5+ years) in quality, governance, accreditation or regulatory roles
within higher education or a comparably regulated environment.
- Demonstrated experience leading or contributing to major accreditation or re-registration
projects
- Strong knowledge of the Higher Education Standards Framework (HESF) and regulatory
requirements.
- Proven ability to lead institution-wide quality and compliance initiatives.
- Advanced project management, organisational and risk management skills.
- High-level written and verbal communication skills, including reporting to senior leaders
and regulators.
- High level of digital literacy to support reporting, analysis and document management.
- Full Australian Working Rights.
