About the Role

Responsibilities

• Preparing and delivering engaging tutorials and workshops to undergraduate and postgraduate students
• Marking assessments, including exams, essays and students’ projects
• Providing academic advice and support to students
• Supervising students’ research projects and practicum placements

Selection Criteria

Qualifications and Professional Standing:

• Hold a PhD, Masters or undergraduate qualification in Education.
• Demonstrated expertise in one or more areas of Education
• Teaching experience
• Current teacher registration (NSW or equivalent) would be an advantage.
• Committed to/Respect the Christian mission and values of Excelsia University College.
• Understanding of current and emerging trends in Australian Education.
• Experience in online or blended teaching
• Ability to communicate effectively with students; ability to communicate and work effectively with colleagues
• Demonstrated awareness of support and sensitivity to cultural diversity and ability to work with students, staff, and administrators cooperatively.
