Based at our manufacturing facility in Balcatta, we have a 6-month Fixed Term contract opportunity available for a reliable and experienced Warehouse Operator. The main purpose of this role is the active management of all materials movements inward, outward and within the warehouse environment. This includes the monitoring and reconciliation of physical materials against that of the business inventory management system (Epicor).

 

Main Duties:

  • Receiving goods & materials
  • Materials Handling
  • Dispatch and internal order management

Knowledge, Experience and Education requirements:

The ideal candidate will have strong organisational skills, good communication skills, and excellent attention to detail.

  • Must hold current national forklift license and have electric Reach Forklift experience
  • Relevant demonstrated experience in similar environment
  • Strong understanding of safe manual handling techniques
  • Working with thoroughness and accuracy is essential
  • Proficient in working in an electronic warehousing environment
  • Proficiency in Epicor will be advantageous
  • Physically fit and comfortable with repetitive lifting and moving stock
  • Execution of daily functions in a way that ensures safety for themselves and the staff around them.
