Manufacturing Equipment Cleaner (Washroom Operator)

Reporting to the Manufacturing Supervisor, this role serves as part of the production facility cleaning operations team. This role is responsible for cleaning the majority of the product contact surface equipment in accordance with the hygiene standards to facilitate demand based on scheduled packaging and compounding activities.

Your primary responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • Cleaning of compounding vessels and filling line parts
  • Monitoring and reporting on condition of equipment being cleaned and tools
  • Maintaining the Washroom facility in both a safety and quality auditable state
  • Maintaining stock levels of approved cleaning consumables
  • In times of no activity assist in either daily facility cleaning tasks or negotiate suitable packaging activity with Production Supervisor or 2IC.

Knowledge, Experience and Education requirements:

  • Minimum 6 months experience in a pharmaceutical environment or a similar industry, and or, hygienic cleaning roles to similar industry standard preferable.
  • Completion of Year 12
  • English literacy, writing and numeracy skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good organisational skills
  • Able to work as part of a team
  • Excellent decision making and problem-solving ability
  • Able to plan and organise workflow
  • Excellent attention to detail
