What’s the role?
We’re looking for a Housekeeper to join our Kin Kora Village on a casual basis, working approximately 25 hours per week.
Reporting to the Village Manager, you’ll help maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation across the village while providing friendly, professional service to our residents and visitors.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Cleaning communal areas including reception, hallways, bathrooms and shared facilities
- Vacuuming, mopping, dusting, sanitising and replenishing supplies
- Removing rubbish and maintaining a clean, organised environment
- Supporting laundry duties as required
- Providing basic assistance to residents and guests, including front desk support when needed
- Reporting maintenance issues, hazards or equipment faults promptly
- Maintaining accurate housekeeping records
- Following food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety procedures
- Supporting a welcoming and respectful environment for residents and visitors

We’re looking for someone who enjoys working independently, takes pride in maintaining high standards and understands the importance of delivering exceptional service.
You’ll ideally bring:
- Previous experience in commercial or residential housekeeping
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Friendly, respectful communication skills
- An understanding of safe chemical handling and workplace health and safety practices
- Physical capability to undertake manual housekeeping duties
- A genuine passion for creating positive experiences for older Australians
- A National Police Check and Working with Vulnerable People Check (or willingness to obtain)
