About the Role

Reporting to the Senior Development Manager, you’ll take ownership of the end-to-end delivery of development projects across Eureka’s expanding portfolio. From early-stage feasibility and planning approvals through to construction delivery and final handover, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping high-quality developments that support Eureka’s strategic growth and ESG commitments.

Key Responsibilities

·       Manage the full development lifecycle from acquisition handover through to project completion and operational handover.

·       Coordinate feasibility assessments, concept design, planning approvals, and consultant engagement across multiple projects.

·       Lead external consultants, contractors, and key stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards.

·       Prepare and monitor project budgets, cost plans, tenders, and financial reporting.

·       Identify and manage development risks, ensuring compliance with planning legislation, statutory approvals, and contractual obligations.

·       Build strong relationships with councils, authorities, consultants, and internal teams including Finance, Legal, Operations, and Asset Management.

·       Drive sustainable and community-focused outcomes aligned with Eureka’s ESG strategy.

 

About You

· Proven experience delivering medium-to-large scale property development projects from inception through to completion.

· Strong understanding of planning frameworks, development approvals, construction processes, and contract management.

· Demonstrated financial acumen with experience managing project budgets, feasibility models, and cost control.

· Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence both internal and external parties.

· Strong project management capability with the ability to manage competing priorities and timelines effectively.

· A collaborative and solutions-focused approach, with a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes.

· Experience working across residential, retirement living, or community-focused developments will be highly regarded.
