About the Role
We are seeking a Project Engineer with a civil or construction background to join our Darwin team. In this role, you will support the delivery of fire protection infrastructure within major construction
projects, working closely with project managers, supervisors, design teams and subcontractors.
This role will suit an engineer who enjoys working across both technical and site-based project coordination, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and to specification.
You will play an important role in coordinating engineering documentation, supporting site delivery and assisting with the technical aspects of project execution.

Key Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of fire protection infrastructure within construction projects
- Review drawings, specifications and engineering documentation
- Assist with coordination of subcontractors, suppliers and site teams
- Monitor project progress and ensure works meet technical and quality requirements
- Assist with RFIs, technical queries, and engineering documentation
- Support project reporting, scheduling and compliance requirements
- Maintain accurate project records and engineering data
- Work closely with Project Managers and Site Supervisors to resolve technical issues
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related engineering discipline
- 3+ years’ experience in a project engineering role within construction or infrastructure
- Strong understanding of construction processes and site coordination
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and project documentation
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with site and office teams
- Experience with project management tools such as Procore, AutoCAD and MS Office are desirable
- Due to project requirements, applicants must hold Australian citizenship or permanent residency
