Our national Major Projects & Approvals team work on a diverse range of renewable energy, resources and infrastructure projects bringing innovative approaches to approvals strategy, impact assessment, cumulative assessments, as well as communication of complex scientific matters. We have deep expertise and pioneering approaches that deliver high-quality outcomes for clients and communities.

We’re looking for someone with your depth of experience to join our national Major Projects & Approvals team in Perth to lead a diverse range of mining, energy and infrastructure projects, bringing innovative approaches to approvals strategy, impact assessment and cumulative assessments. You’ll work with an outstanding bunch of technical specialists; people who love to excel at what they do. You’ll lead the delivery of high-quality outcomes for a range of clients across Western Australia and beyond, and you’ll have a voice and plenty of opportunity to shape and grow the practice.

Here’s what you’ll bring to have impact

  • A minimum of 10 years plus experience in environmental management, environmental impact assessments and approvals
  • An understanding of relevant WA State and Commonwealth legislation
  • Experienced in the co-ordination and delivery of multi-disciplinary approvals projects across either Mining, Energy or infrastructure sectors
  • A strong network and relationships with clients and regulators  
  • Project management skills that have helped you to achieve high quality delivery outcomes for approvals within timeframes and budget
  • Highly developed research, analysis and report writing skills 
  • Ability to engage stakeholders to understand project-specific drivers and constraints, and tailor approvals strategies and technical advice accordingly
  • A passion for mentoring early career team members
