Sales Manager – Miranda Performance & Recovery Centre

EMF Miranda Performance & Recovery Centre is seeking a high-performing Sales Manager to lead membership growth, drive commercial performance, and play a key leadership role within one of NSW flagship clubs.

This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious sales professional who thrives on achieving results, developing people, and building strong member relationships. During the Club Manager’s maternity leave, you will also take responsibility for overseeing day-to-day club operations, providing leadership and continuity across the business.

The Opportunity

As Sales Manager, your primary focus will be generating membership growth, managing sales performance, and driving retention outcomes. You will lead the club’s sales strategy while working closely with the leadership team to ensure exceptional member experiences and operational excellence.

During the Club Manager’s maternity leave, you will assume additional responsibility for overseeing club operations, team leadership, and overall club performance.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Growth

  • Drive monthly membership sales targets and conversion outcomes
  • Manage lead generation, follow-up, and pipeline performance
  • Execute sales campaigns and local area marketing initiatives
  • Maximise retention and member engagement outcomes
  • Monitor and improve key performance indicators including NMM, attrition, retention, and dishonours
  • Develop partnerships and community engagement opportunities to grow club awareness

Leadership & Team Development

  • Lead, coach, and motivate the sales and member services team
  • Build a high-performance culture focused on accountability and results
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and team development
  • Lead from the front and set the standard for member experience and professionalism

Club Operations (Maternity Leave Coverage)

  • Oversee day-to-day club operations during the Club Manager’s maternity leave
  • Maintain exceptional presentation, cleanliness, and operational standards
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Manage member feedback and resolve challenges professionally
  • Support the achievement of club-wide performance objectives

What You Bring

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a sales leadership or management role
  • Proven track record achieving and exceeding sales targets
  • Strong leadership capability with experience coaching and developing teams
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • High level of organisation and attention to detail
  • Confidence managing performance and difficult conversations
  • Passion for health, fitness, and member experience
  • Current First Aid & CPR (or willingness to obtain)
  • Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
