Corporate Services Director

• Full-Time (negotiable) SCHADS 8.3
• Salary $150,000 + 12% superannuation
• 5 weeks leave a year 

Emerge Women and Children’s Support Network is a Melbourne-based specialist family violence service supporting women and children toward cycle-breaking, long-term recovery. Our services include secure refuge, transitional housing, case management, therapeutic support, early intervention and advocacy grounded in evidence-based, trauma-informed practice.

We’re looking for a Corporate Services Director to join our Executive team and lead the operational backbone of our organisation. Reporting to the CEO, you’ll have a central role in strategic oversight and organisational performance. You will oversee finance, governance, risk, compliance, HR and business operations, ensuring Emerge meets its regulatory obligations and that the Emerge Board has clear, timely visibility of organisational performance. You’ll manage a small multi-disciplinary team, and act as executive lead for our relationship with our external HR provider.

This is a senior, hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in a complex regulatory environment and wants their operational expertise to directly enable frontline work that changes lives. You’ll bring proven experience leading operations, risk, compliance or finance, governance and strategic skills, and a genuine commitment to Emerge’s values.

Onsite presence required at least 3 days per week across Emerge’s sites. A Working with Children Check, current police check and Victorian driver’s licence are required. If you want to bring your operational and strategic leadership skills to work that changes lives, we’d love to hear from you.
