ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Centre Director, you will:
- Lead and inspire a team of educators to deliver high-quality education and care
- Build a positive, inclusive, and high-performing team culture
- Drive occupancy, engagement, and strong family relationships
- Oversee daily operations, compliance, and financial performance
- Lead your service through Assessment & Rating (A&R) with confidence
- Mentor and develop future leaders within your team
- Work collaboratively with the Operations Team to achieve centre and organisational goals.
You will play a key role in shaping the experience of children, families, and educators across your service.
ABOUT YOU
You are a confident and values-driven leader who:
- Holds an ACECQA-approved qualification (Diploma or above)
- Has demonstrated experience in a leadership role within Early Childhood Education
- Has a strong understanding of the NQF, EYLF, and National Regulations
- Is passionate about quality, compliance, and continuous improvement
- Leads with integrity, accountability, and empathy
- Thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Is committed to developing others and building future leaders

- Hold (or be willing to obtain) a valid Working With Children Check
- Meet all relevant legislative clearances and screening requirements
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of child safe practices
- Uphold Emali’s child protection policies and procedures at all times
As a Centre Director, you will:
- Foster a culture where children feel safe, heard, and respected
- Ensure compliance with mandatory reporting obligations
- Identify and respond to child safety concerns appropriately
- Maintain professional boundaries and model respectful behaviour
- Lead and support your team in implementing child safe practices
- Ensure environments, supervision, and daily practices prioritise safety
