Truck Driver

Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Truck Driver to join our logistics team in Perth, Western Australia. This permanent, full-time position is essential for ensuring the timely and safe delivery of goods across the region. As a Truck Driver, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our supply chain efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and drive heavy vehicles to transport goods to various locations
• Ensure the safe loading and unloading of cargo
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
• Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules
• Report any vehicle maintenance issues promptly
• Assist in the training of new drivers as required

Qualifications:

• Valid Heavy Rigid (HR) or Heavy Combination (HC) driver’s licence
• Good understanding of road safety regulations
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and ability to perform routine checks.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
• Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage but not essential
