Eleanor Duncan Aboriginal Services (EDAS) is seeking a motivated and professional Reception & Administration Worker to join our team on Darkinjung Country. This is an exciting opportunity for a person who is passionate about supporting community, delivering exceptional customer service, and contributing to positive outcomes for Aboriginal people and families.

As the first point of contact for clients, patients, community members, and stakeholders, you will play an important role in creating a culturally safe, welcoming, and professional experience across our services.

About the Role:

The Reception & Administration Worker is responsible for managing front-of-house operations while providing vital administrative support across the organisation.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Welcoming clients, visitors, and stakeholders in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Managing incoming phone calls, emails, and enquiries.
  • Providing information about EDAS programs and services.
  • Coordinating appointments, calendars, and meeting room bookings.
  • Preparing agendas, taking meeting minutes, and distributing documentation.
  • Maintaining electronic and physical filing systems.
  • Completing accurate data entry and records management.
  • Supporting managers and program teams with administrative tasks.
  • Maintaining office resources and stationery supplies.
  • Working collaboratively across multiple teams to support organisational priorities.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Experience in a reception, administration, or customer service role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience managing calendars, appointments, and records.
  • Sound computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to work professionally and maintain confidentiality.
  • A commitment to culturally safe and respectful service delivery.
  • Current NSW Driver’s Licence.
  • Current NSW Working With Children Check.
  • Ability to obtain or maintain a satisfactory National Police Check.
