Zoologist

Summary:

We are seeking an entry-level Zoologist to join our team in Dalby, Queensland. In this full-time role, you will assist in managing financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports
• Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers
• Support the month-end and year-end closing processes
• Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting regulations and standards
• Provide support during audits and assist in the preparation of audit documentation
• Collaborate with team members to improve accounting processes

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
