We have got an exciting opportunity for a Project Officer to be part of our team at ECA Higher Education in our Parramatta office.
ECA Higher Education encompasses three separate higher education Colleges that deliver accredited undergraduate and postgraduate courses tailored to develop students into capable professionals and ethical leaders.

The Project Officer is responsible for providing executive assistance to the General Manager, Higher Education Quality, managing key governance and quality assurance tasks, projects and providing high-level support to ensure institutional compliance and continuous improvement.
This role requires expertise in regulatory frameworks, quality assurance processes, and project
management. The position involves working closely with various stakeholders to implement
governance frameworks, maintain compliance, and drive quality enhancement initiatives.
Please note that this role will be a maximum-term contract for approximately one (1) year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Executive assistance for the General Manager of Higher
- Coordinate and manage governance and quality assurance projects
- Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets
- Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion
- Prepare project reports for meetings and governance committees
- Support the implementation of governance frameworks
- Monitor and report on compliance requirements
- Coordinate internal audits and reviews
- Maintain quality assurance documentation
- Draft and review policies and procedures
- Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives
- Monitor and evaluate quality indicators
- Coordinate feedback mechanisms and surveys
- Analyse quality-related data and improvement recommendations
- Support accreditation and reaccreditation processes
- Prepare briefing materials and reports
As the successful candidate you will ideally have:
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred
- Experience in governance and quality assurance in higher education
- Demonstrated project management experience
- Experience in regulatory compliance and risk management
- Experience in policy development and review
- Ability to exercise independent judgement and autonomy in decision making
- Strong understanding of higher education regulatory frameworks and TEQSA standards
- Knowledge of quality assurance principles
- Understanding of governance structures and processes
- Excellent project management skills
