About the Opportunity
DVNQ is on the lookout for a passionate and dynamic Integrated Response Facilitator (Level
5) to join our team in Townsville, QLD!
As an Integrated Response Facilitator, you’ll be at the heart of our mission—driving meaningful change in the fight against domestic and family violence (DFV) across Townsville and surrounding regions. You’ll play a key role within our Prevention Team, championing collaboration, accountability, and innovation across the service system and the wider community.

This is a Permanent Part-Time position.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate and support the DVIR Action Group including administration for meetings and
coordination of actions.
- Support the regional network meetings though attendance or sharing of information and resources.
- Develop and coordinate delivery of a localised training and awareness campaigns to support identification, assessment and response of DFV.
- Support development of service systems, identify areas for improved service response and take action or escalate through DVIR Partnership or within DVNQ management structure.
- Provide training and information sessions to enhance service system coordination and integrated responses to DFV.
- Participate in community development and social action activities to raise awareness of Domestic and Family Violence in the community, especially during Domestic Violence Prevention Month.
- Liaise and build connections and networks as appropriate, to establish and maintain referral pathways.
- Support and develop initiatives and activities as part of the Townsville DVIR Partnership.

Selection Criteria
To be considered, you will need to meet the following criteria:
Qualifications and Experience
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant human services field and/or a minimum of five years’ experience in the human services sector.
Skills and Competencies
- Bring hands-on experience and knowledge of the Domestic and Family Violence sector, including current legislation and best practice frameworks.
- Are skilled in community development, project management, and engagement—turning ideas into action.
- Understand intersectionality and diversity, and know how to build respectful, inclusive relationships across the community.
- Love building partnerships, sharing knowledge, and delivering training that empowers others.
- Communicate clearly and sensitively, tailoring your approach to suit different audiences.
- Are highly organised, adaptable, and resourceful—with a positive, can-do attitude.
- Bring emotional intelligence, self-awareness, and resilience to everything you do.
- Demonstrated cultural knowledge and ability to work respectfully and effectively with Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander peoples and provide culturally appropriate advice.
- High level of digital literacy and experience with client record-keeping systems.
Mandatory Requirements
- Current QLD C Class Driver’s Licence.
- Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card).
- Australia: National Police Check Clearance – at organisation’s expense.
