The Role
While most guests are winding down after a day of exploring, we need someone who can provide peace of mind overnight.
As an Overnight Guest Support team member, you’ll stay on-site and be available if guests need assistance. That might be a lockout, noise complaint, urgent maintenance issue, or emergency situation.
This isn’t an active overnight shift. Most nights are quiet. Your role is to be available, contactable and ready to respond when needed.
How the overnight arrangement works
You’ll stay overnight at the property on rostered nights and be available to assist guests between the hours of 12am and 8am.
You’ll receive an overnight stay allowance, which includes up to one hour of overnight assistance. Any additional time worked is paid separately in line with the Hospitality Industry (General) Award.
Who We’re Looking For
You’re calm, reliable and comfortable working independently.
You don’t need to know all the answers, but you do need good judgement, a level head, and the confidence to step in when support is needed. You’re someone who can stay composed under pressure, communicate clearly, and approach situations with a practical, solutions-focused mindset.
Experience in hospitality, accommodation, customer service, healthcare, security, community services or a similar people-focused environment will be highly regarded, but attitude and reliability matter most.
Why Work with Us?
Drifter is a welcoming and inclusive space where people come together to share stories and new experiences. We welcome guests and employees from all races, places, gender expressions and beliefs to be part of our team.
If you enjoy helping people, like working with a high level of trust and autonomy and want to be part of a team that’s redefining modern hospitality, we’d love to hear from you.
