The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Reservations Agent to join our team on a full-time basis. This role is located at our cluster office on the Gold Coast.

 

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing reservations and bookings for both Australian properties, Dorsett Melbourne & Dorsett Gold Coast. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, be able to multitask, and have a passion for providing exceptional customer service.

 

Your responsibilities include:

 

  • Manage reservations and bookings for customers
  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email
  • Maximise sales & upselling opportunities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Process payments and maintain accurate records of transactions
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations
  • Maintain high knowledge of company products, services and facilities
  • Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely manner
  • Assist with administrative tasks as needed

 

About You

  • Previous experience in reservations or customer service (hotel industry preferred)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Proficient in computer skills and ability to learn new programs
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays
  • Full Australian work rights is essential

 

Salary

Level 3 of HIGA(annualized)
