Description

We are looking for a motivated Junior Data Analyst to join a fast-moving digital transformation programm. This is a hands-on contract role where you will work closely with a senior data and analytics team to help migrate, validate, and govern commercial real estate data as it moves from legacy systems into a new unified platform.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career to gain real-world exposure to data migration, platform rollout, and stakeholder engagement, while contributing to outcomes that directly impact how a national leasing team operates day-to-day.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Support data quality assessments across property, lease, and availability datasets prior to platform migration
  • Assist with data cleansing, validation, and reconciliation across various structured data fields
  • Help confirm and document data sources, ownership, and accountability for Day 1 readiness
  • Contribute to legacy system transition work, including impact analysis and testing key assumptions
  • Prepare bulk upload files and assist with migrating offline spreadsheets (such as lease expiry registers) into the new platform
  • Liaise with brokers, analysts, and team leads to gather requirements and validate data accuracy
  • Assist in defining readiness criteria and fallback approaches during system cut-over
  • Document data workflows and support change management activities throughout rollout

What We’re Looking For

Essential:

  • Degree (completed or near completion) in Data Analytics, Business, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related field
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel including pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, data cleaning, and formatting
  • Sharp attention to detail and comfort working with large, messy datasets to spot inconsistencies
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain data issues to non-technical stakeholders
  • Self-starter mentality with the ability to work independently once briefed and ask the right questions

Desirable:

  • Exposure to SQL or experience querying structured databases
  • Familiarity with enterprise platforms such as Salesforce or Snowflake
  • Understanding of commercial real estate concepts like leases, vacancies, and availability (or a willingness to learn quickly)
  • Any experience supporting a system migration, data governance project, or user acceptance testing process
