Description

Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Property Officer or Property Manager to work alongside our Senior Property Manager and Leasing Officer. You will be responsible for overseeing and managing various residential tenancies, ensuring efficient operation and maintenance, and tenant satisfaction. You are responsible for rent arrears, tenant relations, property maintenance, legal compliance, and some reporting.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage rent collection process, monitor payments, and enforce lease agreements.
  • Handle tenant complaints, requests for repairs, and other concerns
  • Supervise property maintenance and repairs, coordinate with the SPM.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state and federal laws, including fair housing laws and building code regulations.
  • Supervise the Leasing Officer

Qualifications:

  • Certificate of Registration or higher real estate
  • 2-4 years of experience in property management
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team, make decisions.
  • Knowledge of Australian property laws and regulations, including the Residential Tenancies Act.
