We’re hiring a Social Media Manager & Content Creator to lead Murad Australia’s presence across Instagram, TikTok, and emerging platforms, with a strong focus on short-form video, community management, and skincare education content.
If you’re experienced in beauty, skincare, influencer marketing, UGC, and digital content creation, this is an opportunity to own and scale a brand’s social community from the ground up.
She’s not looking for a brand. She’s looking for proof.
There’s a woman in her mid-40s trying to understand why her skin has suddenly changed. She’s searching for content that makes sense of it.
You’ll be the person who creates that content.
Murad is a global, science-backed skincare brand. Our Australian team is lean, ambitious, and focused on building a high-trust community of women navigating real skin changes.
About the role
This is a hands-on Social Media and Content role combining:
- Content creation (video-first, TikTok + Reels)
- Community management
- Influencer & UGC program development
- Campaign and eCommerce content support
You’ll own the organic social strategy, build a highly engaged audience, and play a key role in brand growth and customer conversion.
Key responsibilities
Content Creation & Strategy
- Plan and execute content across Instagram, TikTok, and social platforms
- Create short-form video content (Reels, TikTok) with strong hooks and storytelling
- Appear on camera as a brand voice (essential requirement)
- Develop educational skincare content (ingredients, hormonal changes, routines)
- Maintain and manage a content calendar
Community Management & Growth
- Manage daily engagement (comments, DMs, mentions)
- Build and execute a community growth strategy
- Identify and engage brand advocates and loyal customers
- Monitor social listening and brand sentiment
Influencer & UGC
- Support influencer partnerships and seeding programs
- Develop and manage a User-Generated Content (UGC) program
- Recruit and run a local Trial Team community
Digital & Campaign Content
- Create content for eDMs, CRM, Amazon, and digital channels
- Collaborate with marketing, eCommerce and PR teams
- Support campaign activations and partnerships
Performance & Optimisation
- Track key metrics: engagement, reach, saves, growth, conversions
- Optimise content based on performance insights and platform trends
- Stay up to date with algorithm changes and social media trends
- Use AI tools to improve workflow and content production
Skills & experience
- Experience in Social Media Management, Content Creation, or Digital Marketing
- Strong skills in TikTok, Instagram Reels, and video editing
- Comfortable and confident on camera
- Background in beauty, skincare, wellness, or lifestyle content (preferred)
- Experience with community management and engagement strategies
- Understanding of influencer marketing and UGC
- Analytical mindset — able to interpret data and improve performance
- Strong communication and storytelling skills
