About the Role:
We are seeking a Dental Assistant to join our Sydney clinic. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in precision, preparation, and patient reassurance.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Chairside scouting & assistance for surgical procedures including implants, oral surgery, and complex treatments
- Assisting with Cosmetic and general dentistry procedures
- Supporting the team where necessary
- Assisting with admin tasks to help the whole team
- Preparing and maintaining sterile surgical environments and instruments
- Assisting with sedation workflows where applicable
- Delivering a calm, reassuring, and professional patient experience
- Maintaining the highest standards of sterilisation, infection control, and clinical compliance
- Supporting accurate clinical documentation and post-operative processes
- Supporting patient experience
- Collaborating closely with clinicians, nurses, and front-of-house teams
About You:
You’ll be a strong fit if you:
- Has previous experience as a Dental Assistant (1+ year preferred, but not essential)
- Holds a Certificate III/IV in Dental Assisting or equivalent hands-on dental assisting experience (preferred, but not essential)
- Is eager to learn and develop their skills in cosmetic, surgery and implant dentistry
- Works well as part of a supportive, fast-paced team
- Demonstrates excellent attention to detail and a strong work ethic
- Communicates professionally and compassionately with patients and colleagues
- Is reliable, proactive, and happy to assist wherever needed throughout the practice
- Is comfortable using digital dental software and technology (or willing to learn)
