About the role
Reporting directly to the Head of People & Culture, you’ll be a trusted partner to leaders across Decode, working as part of a close-knit and collaborative People & Culture team. You’ll play a key role in attracting exceptional talent while helping shape the future of our workforce and supporting our culture transformation journey.
You’ll manage the end-to-end recruitment process across a diverse range of corporate and project-based roles, partnering closely with hiring managers to understand their workforce needs, provide market insights and deliver an outstanding candidate experience. Beyond recruitment, you’ll contribute to People & Culture initiatives that strengthen our employer brand, foster inclusion and support an engaged, high-performing workforce.

What you’ll be doing
- Partner with hiring managers across the business to understand resourcing needs and provide trusted recruitment advice.
- Manage end-to-end recruitment across a diverse range of corporate and project-based roles.
- Develop innovative sourcing and attraction strategies to identify high-quality talent.
- Build and maintain proactive talent pipelines to support future business growth.
- Deliver an exceptional candidate experience from initial engagement through to onboarding.
- Facilitate interviews and provide informed recommendations to hiring managers.
- Promote and strengthen Decode’s employer brand across multiple channels.
- Maintain accurate recruitment data and reporting through our Applicant Tracking System.
- Partner with the wider People & Culture team on initiatives that support employee engagement, diversity and inclusion, and organisational capability.
- Champion recruitment best practice while continuously seeking opportunities to improve our hiring processes.
About you
You’ll enjoy building genuine relationships and take pride in finding the right people, at the right time. You’re proactive, organised and thrive in a collaborative environment where your ideas are welcomed.
You’ll also bring:
- Previous experience in Talent Acquisition or Recruitment, either in-house or agency (Building Construction industry favoured).
- Experience managing end-to-end recruitment across a variety of roles.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to build trusted relationships at all levels.
- Excellent communication, influencing and relationship-building skills.
- A proactive mindset with exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems and sourcing platforms.
- A passion for delivering outstanding candidate experiences.
- A genuine commitment to building diverse, inclusive and high-performing teams.
