Position Overview:

As Field Account Executive for Cygnett you will immerse yourself in an interactive role while showcasing your passion for Consumer Electronics.  You will play a pivotal role in helping Cygnett increase their brand presence and presentation levels in their retail stores.

 

You are an energetic, confident Field Account Executive with a genuine passion for people who will own their store relationships. Success in this role will rely on your ability to leverage in-store relationships while you deliver product capability training and merchandising activity.

 

This is a Full-Time role with a Monday – Friday work week.

Flexibility is offered, with occasional after-hours training sessions required.

 

Key Responsibilities:

If successful in this role, we will expect to see:

  • Territory coverage focussed on VIC metro with the possibility for some regional/interstate travel. Management of fortnightly/monthly call cycle.
  • Attend sales meetings at Cygnett Head Office in Melbourne as required
  • Building & maintaining strong relationships with store personnel
  • Planograms – executions & compliance checks.
  • Communicating promotional activities & compliance checks.
  • Negotiating off location opportunities
  • Accurate reporting: Submit regular reports on merchandising and compliance activities for planning and review where requested.
  • Assist in achieving sales budgets and sell through targets for Key Accounts.
  • Manage sales and stock queries at a store level where required.

 

Qualifications & Capabilities:

  • Previous retail or merchandising experience.
  • Consumer electronics experience preferred.
  • Ability to communicate engagingly with different types of customers and build relationships.
  • Comfortable in a highly autonomous role.
  • Time Management, Excel and PowerPoint Skills
  • Competitor analysis
  • Full Australian Driver’s License and car
  • Ability to travel interstate.
