Why this role exists:

We are seeking an experienced Electronics Product Manager to lead the development of physical electronics products that are safe, high quality, and that solve people’s everyday challenges, keeping them powered, connected and protected. This role will ensure market competitiveness and fill a need people didn’t even know they had.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electronic engineering and a proven track record in power management and effectively bringing products to market with accompanying commercial management.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute product strategies that align with company goals and market demands.
  • Manage the entire product lifecycle from concept through to launch and post-launch evaluation.
  • Work with manufacturing partners to ensure the timely delivery of outcomes both in terms of quality, usability and commerciality.
  • Provide detailed training with a compelling case and clear differentiators to sell to sales to then sell to customers
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, sales, compliance and operations to ensure successful product delivery.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Define product requirements and specifications based on customer feedback and market needs.
  • Monitor product performance and implement improvements based on data-driven insights, making sure that the product remains viable and commercially viable.
  • Prepare and present product roadmaps and updates to stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations throughout the product development process.
  • Accurately manage the content and product information required for all product packaging and product related literature ensuring the content & communication is clear, relevant, accurate and in keeping with legislative requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Product Management, or a related field
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in product management within the electronics industry with power banks and complex power supplies being viewed favourably
  • Understanding of technical safety and engineering concepts with the requisite attention to detail
  • Understanding of range architecture and category management
  • Proven track record of successfully launching and managing physical products (NOT digital)
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data and customer feedback
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teams
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies
