Crown Currency Exchange has spent 20 years turning foreign

Behind every one of those transactions sits a store that
must get the detail right: the transaction, the safe, the count, AML/CTF
obligations and a first-class customer experience. We are looking for someone
to walk into our stores and support our staff deliver exceptional service,
compliantly.
About the role
You will own operational assurance across 23 stores in
Victoria, Western Australia, South Australia, and Tasmania. Each month you
visit your stores, run a Quality Assurance Review, complete a full cash count,
and test how the store is tracking against Crown policy and our regulatory
obligations. Upon completion of each review, you will sit down with the Store
Manager, explain what you found, agree the fix, and follow it through.

What you will be doing
Assurance and risk
- Run monthly Quality
Assurance Reviews across your assigned stores
- Complete monthly full
cash counts, investigate variances, and escalate where required
- Review OH&S
practices and flag risks with recommended actions
- Check security protocols
on every visit: safe access, alarm procedures, CCTV
- Escalate systemic,
unresolved, or high-risk breaches to the National Operations and
Capability Leader
Compliance
- Monitor store compliance
with AML/CTF, TTR, Privacy and AUSTRAC requirements
- Identify operational
risks and policy gaps, and recommend the fix
- Roll out new and updated
policies and procedures across your region
- Keep accurate
documentation for QARs, cash counts, OH&S and other assurance
processes
Coaching and capability
- Deliver clear feedback
to Store Managers after every review and confirm corrective actions land
- Coach new store leaders
through Crown’s operational and risk expectations during onboarding
- Champion the Crown Sales
Process so store execution meets both commercial and compliance
obligations
Reporting and insight
- Submit detailed reports
after each in-store review
- Track trends, repeat
issues and opportunities for systemic improvement
- Work confidently across
Crown’s systems
National projects
- Lead pilot activities
and test new processes for Crown’s National Retail Plan
- Partner with National
Operations to improve systems, policy and process
What you will bring
- Experience in retail
operations, audit, risk or compliance, ideally across a multi-site network
- Working knowledge of
AML/CTF and AUSTRAC obligations
- Cash handling and
reconciliation experience
- The ability to deliver
honest feedback
- Strong written reporting: clear, accurate, on time
- A current driver licence and willingness to travel across four states
- Able to travel interstate stores quarterly
