About the Role
We’re looking for a proactive and reliable Despatch Team Member to join our warehouse team in Epping, VIC. You’ll play a key role in supporting our despatch operations— ensuring orders are picked, packed, and dispatched accurately and efficiently. If you’re ready to roll up your sleeves, work in a collaborative team environment, and make a meaningful contribution, this role is for you.
Shift hours: 12pm – 8pm (15% afternoon shift loading applicable)
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately pick, pack, and check off goods prior to dispatch to meet delivery standards.
- Load and unload trucks, participating in quality control checks to ensure orders are correct and complete.
- Keep the warehouse clean, safe, and organised to support a productive environment.
- Communicate with customers regarding delivery times and assist with trade sales counter pickups.
- Operate forklifts and warehouse equipment safely in line with operational guidelines.
- Coordinate with sales and production teams to resolve queries and ensure smooth dispatch.
- Maintain inventory of shipping materials and assist with stock control when required.
- Provide a high level of customer service by responding to phone and counter enquiries.
- Support the wider team and assist other departments to ensure delivery timeframes are met.
Skills and Experience
We’re looking for someone with:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar despatch or warehouse role.
- A current forklift license (preferred)
- Strong work ethic and a commitment to safety and accuracy.
- Physical fitness for manual handling tasks.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Experience with order picking, paperwork, and basic ERP systems (preferred)
- Previous stocktake experience (preferred).
