Description

Cricket Victoria is seeking a driven and relationship-focused Corporate Sales Specialist to grow corporate hospitality, premium experiences, group ticketing and event sales across our organisation.

Reporting to the GM Government Relations and Strategic Partnerships, this role will focus on generating new business opportunities, building strong client relationships and delivering outstanding experiences for corporate partners, community groups and cricket fans.

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Generating new revenue through outbound sales activity, networking, referrals, inbound enquiry conversion and relationship development.
  • Selling corporate hospitality packages, suites, premium experiences, group ticketing, memberships and event products across Cricket Victoria.
  • Identifying, developing and converting new sales opportunities across corporate, community, association, school, club and business segments.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with corporate clients, community groups, schools, clubs and business networks.
  • Developing tailored proposals and sales packages that meet client objectives and maximise commercial return.
  • Working towards agreed revenue, attendance, pipeline, conversion and customer retention targets.
  • Identifying new markets and customer segments to support growth across Cricket Victoria events, hospitality offerings and venue experiences.
  • Delivering exceptional customer service and identifying opportunities to improve the client, member and fan experience.
  • Maintaining accurate sales pipelines, customer records and activity reporting within CRM and ticketing systems.
  • Supporting sales forecasting, reporting, payment processing and sales administration.

You’ll bring:

  • Demonstrated success generating new business and achieving revenue targets.
  • Experience in B2B sales, corporate sales, hospitality sales, event sales, membership sales or a related commercial environment.
  • Strong relationship-building, negotiation and communication skills.
  • Experience managing sales pipelines and customer relationships through CRM systems.
  • A commercial, proactive and customer-focused approach.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including match days, evenings and weekends during the cricket season.

Qualifications:

  • Current Victorian Employee Working with Children Check or ability to obtain one.
  • Tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce, Marketing, Sport Management, Event Management or a related discipline is desirable.
