Join Cricket Victoria – We’re Hiring a Cricket Administrator (RDCA) for our Premier Cricket and Competitions Team! 

We are currently seeking to appoint a highly motivated and passionate individual to join our Premier Cricket and Competitions team as our Cricket Administrator for the Ringwood & District Cricket Association (RDCA). This position will play a critical role in Provide high level administration support for the RDCA area.

💪 The Role

Key Responsibilities:

  • Competition & Operations Management: Oversee competition delivery via PlayHQ, including fixtures, registrations, by-laws, playing conditions, player transfers/permits, fines, and awards.
  • Stakeholder & Club Engagement: Lead club development and planning, manage the events calendar, and maintain strong relationships with clubs, councils, and cricket stakeholders.
  • Umpire & Tribunal Coordination: Liaise with the Umpires Association and manage all reports, disciplinary matters, and tribunal processes.
  • Communications & Marketing: Deliver association-wide communications and marketing, including official club correspondence, enquiries (SMS/email/phone), and website content.
  • Systems & Compliance: Manage e-scoring and registration platforms, ensure mandatory registration processes, and uphold Child Safety Standards.
  • Governance & Administration: Support Association governance, including Executive Board meetings and policy implementation.
  • Continuous Improvement & Support: Identify efficiencies, reduce volunteer workload, and undertake additional duties as directed.

🎯 About You

You’ll bring:

  • Strong teamwork and the ability to work collaboratively with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders. 
  • Interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to draft routine correspondence and provide high-level customer service. 
  • Organisational, planning and time management skills, and ability to manage workload whilst prioritising competing demands, and willingness to work outside normal hours of work. 
  • Responsible, self-motivated, professional and ability to represent Cricket Victoria at meetings and events.  
  • Demonstrated ability to delivery fully integrated solutions and make decisions to best meet community cricket and stakeholder needs. 

Highly regarded:

  • Experience in competition management and the ability to identify methods to analyse information efficiently, using innovative and creative solutions to problems.

 

Qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualification – i.e. Sports Graduate Diploma 
  • Valid Victorian Employee Working with Children Check  
  • Current Victorian Driver’s Licence
