Local Government Account Manager

Location: Eastwood (SA) or Melbourne (VIC) Type: Full-time

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Local Government Account Manager to manage and grow key stakeholder relationships across our client portfolio.

This role is responsible for overseeing account performance, coordinating service delivery, and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and procedures. You’ll act as a trusted advisor, balancing commercial outcomes with public sector accountability and community expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of client and stakeholder accounts as the primary point of contact
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with local councils, contractors, and stakeholders
  • Coordinate service delivery to meet agreed service standards and outcomes
  • Monitor account performance, identify risks, and implement improvement strategies
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, governance, and client policies
  • Prepare reports, briefings, and correspondence for senior stakeholders
  • Resolve escalated issues and complaints professionally and efficiently
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and best practice delivery

About You

You bring strong stakeholder management capability and experience working within regulated or public sector environments.
