About the Role
We are seeking an energetic and customer-focused Business Centre Manager to oversee the daily operations of a premium flexible workspace environment.
This hands-on role combines operations, customer experience, sales support, and team leadership. You will play a key role in ensuring the centre operates smoothly while delivering an exceptional experience for members, guests, and prospective clients.
Working closely with the Area Director, you will support occupancy growth, member retention, and centre performance while fostering a welcoming and professional community atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities
Operations & Client Experience
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the business centre, including opening and closing procedures
- Deliver exceptional customer service to members, guests, and visitors
- Manage meeting room bookings, mail handling, onboarding, and offboarding processes
- Ensure the centre is professionally presented and maintained at all times
- Coordinate maintenance requests and liaise with building management and external contractors
- Ensure company policies, procedures, and operational standards are consistently followed
Team & Community Leadership
- Foster a positive, collaborative, and community-focused environment
- Support and guide the centre team in achieving operational and performance goals
- Assist with the coordination of internal and external events
- Coordinate staffing coverage for leave and absences where required
Sales & Leasing Support
- Support the Area Director with client tours and sales follow-up
- Assist with the preparation and follow-up of proposals
- Maintain and update leads within HubSpot CRM
- Help drive occupancy, client retention, and renewals
- Ensure vacant offices are clean, styled, and ready for inspection
Administration & Reporting
- Manage invoicing, daily charges, and reporting requirements
- Support accounts follow-up and debt collection activities
- Prepare weekly occupancy, sales, and operational reports
About You
You are highly organised, proactive, and thrive in a fast-paced customer-facing environment. You enjoy building strong relationships, leading teams, and creating positive client experiences.
Skills & Experience
- 3-5 years’ experience in workspace operations and sales
- Previous people management or leadership experience
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience using CRM systems, preferably HubSpot
- Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities
- Experience in flexible workspace, serviced office, hospitality, or property environments is highly regarded
