Summary:

Join the Country to Coast Care team as a Casual Support Worker, where you will play a vital role in empowering individuals with disabilities to lead fulfilling lives. This position offers flexible hours and competitive pay, allowing you to make a genuine difference in your community while working within a supportive and inclusive team environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care, meal preparation, medication support, and assistance with daily living activities.
  • Encourage independence and assist participants in achieving their personal goals.
  • Work varied shifts, including afternoons, weekends, and split shifts.
  • Build respectful relationships with clients, their families, and colleagues.
  • Maintain accurate records in accordance with NDIS Practice Standards.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in disability, aged care, or a similar field.
  • Experience (or willingness to learn) in complex bowel care and catheter care.
  • Certificate III or IV in Disability, Aged Care, or Community Services (preferred).
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check, Working with Children Check, First Aid & CPR certification, and Police Check (within the last 2 years).
  • Current driver’s licence and access to a reliable, insured vehicle.
  • Flexibility to travel for shifts, including afternoons and every second weekend.
  • Commitment to making this your primary roster.
