We are seeking an enthusiastic National Trainer to join our dynamic Training Team and play a key role in developing the knowledge, confidence and sales capability of our retail teams across Australia.

About the Role

This is a Sydney-based position working from our Head Office in Hillsdale.

As a National Trainer, your primary focus will be delivering engaging, impactful training across our luxury beauty and fragrance portfolio. No two days are the same—you may be coaching consultants one-on-one at counter level, facilitating small group sessions, or leading workshops and training events for audiences of up to 50 participants. You’ll work closely with Marketing, Retail and Brand teams to design and deliver training programs that inspire, educate and drive results.

Regular travel is a key part of this role. You’ll visit department store counters, retail locations and training venues throughout Sydney and interstate when required. To support this, the role includes a $5,000 annual car allowance. Some international travel will also be required as you attend brand related seminars and the like.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Delivering engaging face-to-face, virtual and in-store training programs
  • Coaching and developing Beauty Consultants and Counter Managers through both individual and group training sessions
  • Facilitating workshops, training events and presentations for groups ranging from small teams through to 50 attendees
  • Travelling regularly to department store counters and retail locations to provide hands-on coaching and support
  • Creating, updating and enhancing training materials, manuals and learning resources
  • Supporting onboarding and induction programs for new team members
  • Evaluating training effectiveness and providing insights and recommendations
  • Maintaining training calendars and coordinating training logistics
  • Partnering with internal stakeholders to ensure training initiatives align with brand and business objectives
  • Supporting PR, launch and brand events as required

About You

You are an experienced trainer who is passionate about developing people and confident presenting to audiences of all sizes. Success in this role will come from your ability to engage and inspire diverse audiences, create visually compelling and interactive training content, that both aligns with the brand specifications, and adapts your training approach to suit everyone from new starters through to experienced retail professionals.

You’ll bring:

  • Prior experience in training within the beauty, fragrance or retail industry
  • Strong facilitation and presentation skills
  • Experience delivering both one-on-one coaching and group workshops
  • Ability to show your knowledge in developing training content and learning materials
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent experience) is preferred
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Advanced PowerPoint skills. Other Microsoft office experience is also preferred.
  • A current driver’s licence and access to a vehicle

What’s in It for You?

  • Salary package of $70,000 – $80,000 plus $5,000 annual travel allowance, based on your experience.
  • We currently have a hybrid working model with 2 days’ work from home each week.
  • Opportunity to work with some of the world’s most recognised luxury beauty and fragrance brands.
  • Staff discounts across our extensive brand portfolio after a qualifying period.
  • A supportive, collaborative and passionate team environment.
  • Ongoing opportunities for professional development and growth.

Please note as this is a permanent role, you must have full ongoing working rights within Australia. Those with restrictions will not be considered.
