Senior Civil Estimator

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Estimator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates across a range of projects, supporting both pre-construction and tender processes. You’ll play a key role in ensuring project feasibility, profitability, and strategic alignment.

This role is a full-time position based in our Subiaco office, with site visits as required.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit detailed cost estimates, budgets, and tender submissions
• Analyse drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labour estimates
• Identify and assess project productivities, assumptions, risks and opportunities
• Lead continual improvement by feeding outcomes into estimating templates and cost libraries
• Prepare handover packages to Project Managers, clearly outlining the scope, risks and key inputs
• Liaise with engineers, clients, subcontractors and suppliers on project requirements
• Mentor junior estimators and contribute to team development

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Senior Estimator in civil construction.
• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or a related field
• Strong knowledge of Candy estimating software and tools
• High proficiency in Excel and document control systems
• Ability to travel to site as required
• Construction Card (desirable)
