Your Role:
We have multiple opportunities for Casual Audio Visual Technicians to join our Event Production. We are seeking Junior to Senior technicians with a range of skillsets to support our growing workload across corporate events.
We are in the business of helping and giving a great experience for our clients. You will play a key role in assisting this with the preparation of Audio, Vision and Lighting on a variety of physical, virtual and hybrid corporate events, and provide solutions for AV/IT issues.
In the capacity as Casual AV Technician supporting our Support and Event Production teams, you will be mainly working on;
- Assisting with the setup, operation and pack-down of AV systems for corporate events, conferences and broadcasts
- Liaising with clients to ensure their needs are met for ICT and AV requests;
- Basic computer wireless network set up and troubleshooting;
- Operation of audio, vision and lighting equipment during live events;
- Maintenance and management of internal AV assets and equipment;
- Working flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required for casual event roles.
Your Background:
To be considered for this position you will have the following:
- Tertiary/TAFE qualified with notable experience in operating Audio, Vision, and Lighting equipment.
- Strong customer service & communication skills- demonstrated ability to collaborate and build trust with a varied range of key stakeholders
- Well-developed time management skills with good availability for shifts and a focus on attention to detail.
- Purposeful and dedicated in implementing results-focused solutions.
Desirable Skills (Senior-Level)
While not essential for all applicants, the following skills are highly desirable and suited to more senior technicians
- Advanced troubleshooting of AV signal flow and system faults
- Experience operating vision switching, streaming or broadcast platforms
- Leadership or mentoring experience on live event sites
- Confident client-facing exerience in high-ressure environments
- Ability to work autonomously and take ownershi oof event delivery
