About the opportunity

As the HAY Assistant Store Manager, you will help the store manager lead the day-to-day operations of our HAY retail showroom, ensuring an exceptional customer experience while driving sales performance and team engagement. You will be hands-on in the showroom, leading by example, nurturing client relationships, and maintaining the high visual and service standards that HAY is known for.

This role is ideal for a confident retail leader with a passion for design, people and premium customer experiences.

 

How you will contribute

·Motivating the retail team to deliver outstanding customer service

·Assisting with day-to-day store operations

·Consulting with retail clients and providing tailored product solutions

·Building and maintaining strong relationships with repeat clients and design professionals

·Promote strong sales by leading by example; strong and positive communication with clients

·Maintaining store visual merchandising standards

·Overseeing quotes, sales orders and follow-up of client enquiries
