Control Room Operator – Join Cornerstone Parking
Are you an experienced contact centre professional who enjoys problem-solving and getting out from behind the desk when needed? Cornerstone Parking is seeking a confident and customer-focused Control Room Operator to support both our central operations and on-site car park activities.
About the Role
This is a dynamic, hybrid role combining control room operations with hands-on field support. You’ll be the voice and eyes of our operation—monitoring sites, assisting customers, and coordinating responses—while also attending car parks to carry out preventative maintenance and resolve equipment or customer issues when required.

Key Responsibilities
Control Room (Primary Duties):
- Monitor live CCTV, intercoms, and parking systems across multiple sites
- Handle inbound and outbound calls with professionalism and empathy
- Assist customers with parking enquiries, payments, and access issues
- Respond to incidents and coordinate with field staff or contractors
- Maintain accurate records of all interactions and system activity
Field-Based Duties:
- Attend car park sites to respond to equipment faults and customer issues
- Carry out basic preventative maintenance and consumables restocking
- Troubleshoot ticket machines, boom gates, and payment systems
- Ensure sites are clean, functional, and operating efficiently
- Liaise with contractors and escalate technical issues where required
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in a contact centre, call centre, or customer service role.
- Strong communication skills with a calm and professional phone manner
- Practical, hands-on approach with the ability to troubleshoot issues on-site
- Ability to multitask and stay composed under pressure
- Good computer skills and confidence using multiple systems
- Current driver’s licence (essential)
- Availability to work rotating shifts (including evenings/weekends if required)
