Summary

The Compliance Support Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring that our financial services operations adhere to regulatory standards and internal policies. Based in Sydney CBD, this permanent, full-time position is designed for a mid-senior level professional who will support the compliance team in identifying, assessing, and mitigating compliance risks. The role is vital for maintaining the integrity and reputation of our organisation within the financial services industry.

Role Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and implementation of compliance policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular compliance audits and risk assessments to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Provide guidance and support to staff on compliance-related issues and best practices.
  • Monitor changes in legislation and regulatory requirements, ensuring the organisation remains compliant.
  • Prepare and present compliance reports to senior management and relevant stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with other departments to promote a culture of compliance throughout the organisation.
  • Assist in the training and development of staff on compliance matters.

Experience and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Law, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in compliance within the financial services sector.
  • Strong understanding of Australian financial regulations and compliance frameworks.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in compliance management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
