We are seeking an experienced and passionate Hub Coordinator to lead our Child and Family Services across the Blue Mountains and Lithgow regions. This is an exciting opportunity to combine leadership, community engagement and program development in a role that genuinely makes a difference.
About the Role
As the Blue Mountains & Lithgow Hub Coordinator, you will provide leadership and oversight across a range of child and family programs, ensuring services are responsive, inclusive and deliver meaningful outcomes for local families.
Working closely with staff, community partners and stakeholders, you will help shape and strengthen services that support children in their critical early years.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor and support a diverse team of passionate professionals.
- Oversee the delivery of high-quality programs that meet funding, compliance and organisational requirements.
- Build strong relationships with families, community organisations and key stakeholders.
- Identify emerging community needs and contribute to the development of responsive services.
- Ensure programs reflect child-safe, inclusive and strengths-based practice.
- Monitor program outcomes, reporting requirements and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Represent Connect within community networks, forums and partnerships.
About You
You are a collaborative and values-driven leader who is passionate about supporting children and families to thrive.
You will bring:
- Qualifications in Community Services, Early Childhood Education, Social Work or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in program coordination, family support, community services or a similar role.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, guide and develop others.
- Sound understanding of child development, family-centred practice and community engagement.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- A commitment to inclusion, cultural responsiveness and child safety.
