Warehouse Supervisor

We are seeking an organised, dependable, and hands-on Warehouse Supervisor to oversee our daily logistics and dispatch operations. In this role, you will lead our warehouse team, manage daily workflows, and directly participate in loading and unloading goods. The successful candidate will ensure that all work is completed accurately and safely while maintaining high productivity levels. A valid forklift licence is a mandatory requirement for this position.

Key Responsibilities

Staff Management & Leadership

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the warehouse team.
• Provide clear work allocation and assign tasks to team members based on priority.
• Train and onboard new warehouse workers on company procedures and safety protocols.
• Monitor staff performance, provide coaching, and motivate the team to meet daily targets.

Operations & Workflow Control

• Ensure all daily work is completed efficiently, accurately, and on time.
• Oversee shipping and receiving processes to guarantee correct inventory management.
• Conduct final checks on outgoing shipments to verify accuracy.
• Resolve operational issues or bottlenecks on the floor as they arise.

Hands-On Warehouse Duties

• Safely load and unload trucks, shipping containers, and delivery vans.
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move stock.
• Verify goods received against delivery documentation for quality and quantity.

Safety & Maintenance

• Enforce strict adherence to workplace health and safety (WHS) regulations.
• Conduct regular inspections of forklifts, tools, and facility equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and hazard-free warehouse environment.

Requirements & Qualifications

Licences & Experience

• Current, valid Forklift Licence (Mandatory).
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a warehouse environment.
• Prior experience in a supervisory or team lead role.

Skills & Attributes

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to delegate work fairly.
• Excellent time management and problem-solving capabilities.
• Physically fit and capable of performing manual handling and heavy lifting.
• Clear verbal communication skills to coordinate with staff and truck drivers.

Required hours of work will be 12pm to 8pm
