What You’ll Be Doing
As Sales Manager, you’ll lead, coach, and develop a high-performing sales team while supporting the State Manager in delivering commercial outcomes. Key responsibilities include:
- Achieving sales and claims targets through a mix of team leadership, client development, and strategic planning
- Supporting your team in the field and identifying new business opportunities
- Driving ongoing partner engagement through visits, training, and incentive programs
- Taking accountability for performance delivery across your area
- Collaborating with peers, BDMs, and senior leaders to align local execution with broader business growth strategies
- Leading from the front with hands-on sales leadership and territory planning
- This is a hands-on role where leadership, field execution, and client strategy come together to deliver measurable results.
What You’ll Bring
- Proven success in sales and business development
- Experience leading a team in a target-driven environment (preferred)
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and build trust internally and externally
- Ability to balance strategy with hands-on execution and lead from the front
- Commercial mindset with strong time management and prioritisation skills
- Confident analysing performance data to drive decisions and improvements
- Experience in the motor trade (e.g. smash repairs, dealerships, or parts) is desirable but not essential
- Comfortable working in the field and performing in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment
