Kinders Plus (CKP), you’ll play a critical leadership role supporting the financial sustainability and growth of a not-for-profit organisation delivering high-quality kindergarten services to

About the Role
Reporting to the CEO, you will lead all aspects of financial management,
including reporting, compliance, budgeting, risk management, IT and financial
operations. You will work closely with the CEO, Leadership Team, and Board (including
the Finance, Audit & Risk Committee) to provide clear financial insights, strengthen
governance, and support informed decision-making.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the development of
budgets, forecasts, and financial modelling
- Preparing and presenting
monthly and quarterly reports to the CEO and Board
- Driving strong financial
governance, compliance, and audit outcomes
- Overseeing payroll,
accounts payable/receivable, and cash flow management
- Managing financial risks,
asset registers, and internal control frameworks
- Supporting strategic
planning, growth, and new service development
- Building financial
capability across the organisation
About You
You are a strategic and hands-on finance leader who can balance operational
excellence with big-picture thinking.
You bring:
- A degree in Accounting,
Finance, Business or Commerce
- CPA or CA qualification (or
working towards)
- Minimum 5+ years’
experience in a Finance Manager or similar role
- Strong experience in
budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
- Experience supporting Board
and committee reporting
- Knowledge of compliance,
risk, audit, and governance frameworks
- High-level Excel and
financial systems capability (experience with Xero or similar)
- The ability to translate
financial data into clear, actionable insights and reporting
Experience in the not-for-profit, education, or community sector
is highly regarded.
