🔷 Purpose of the Role 

We are looking for a motivated and analytical Management Accountant to join our Finance team. You will be responsible for delivering accurate financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and business analysis that supports informed decision-making across the organisation. 

This is a hands-on role that combines financial control, reporting excellence, business partnering, and strategic analysis. You’ll work closely with stakeholders across the business to provide meaningful insights, identify opportunities for improvement, and support CBN’s growth objectives. 

✨ What You’ll Do 

  • Support monthly financial reporting and analysis across the CBN group  
  • Assist with quarterly Board reporting and preparation of management insights  
  • Develop and maintain KPI reports, dashboards, and performance analysis  
  • Manage reporting and budgeting for CBN subsidiary and associate entities  
  • Support forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning activities  
  • Develop financial models and business cases for strategic initiatives  
  • Undertake market research and commercial analysis to support business decisions  
  • Manage tax compliance obligations 
  • Oversee payroll processing and reporting 
  • Monitor business performance and identify opportunities for profitability improvement  
  • Contribute to M&A valuation modelling and strategic projects  
  • Assist with year-end financial reporting, audits, and statutory requirements  
  • Drive improvements to reporting systems, processes, and automation  
  • Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting to key stakeholders  
  • Maintain accurate financial procedures and ensure data integrity  
  • Collaborate across the business to support commercial and operational outcomes 

💡 What You’ll Bring 

  • CA or CPA qualification  
  • Degree qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline  
  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in a management accounting, financial analysis, or similar finance role  
  • Strong financial modelling, forecasting, and budgeting capabilities  
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills  
  • Experience preparing management reports and financial insights for stakeholders  
  • Experience with payroll processing 
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy  
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills  
  • Ability to build effective relationships across all levels of the business  
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools  
  • Experience within the insurance or financial services sector will be highly regarded
